Budget cuts and tough economic times are our new reality. However, we are pleased to inform you that Honda of America Mfg., Inc., Madison Conservation Foundation, Inc., Battelle, Mt. Sterling Elementary PTO and Plain City Elementary PTO, have contributed grants so that we may continue to offer "Conservation on Wheels," science and environmental education programs delivered to your classroom. We will continue to look hard for more sponsors to sustain this outstanding program. We appreciate your cooperation and support in our ongoing efforts!
These programs are FREE programs to any school or organization located within Madison County. The District believes that conservation extends to all ages. Students can develop an understanding of conservation at an early age and carry that knowledge with them throughout their lives.
The programs listed cover a wide range of topics and meet the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Science. Each program is hands-on, approximately 30-45 minutes long, and can be modified for any grade level. All materials are free!
