Family & Children First Council- Service Coordination Mechanism


What is the Service Coordination Mechanism?
 

The Madison County Family Council endorses a service coordination process that supports families and children through: Nurturing, protecting, and supporting the healthy development of the child at all stages of the continuum birth through age 21; Prioritizing efforts to help youth be successful be successful in school and in life beyond school; Strengthening a family's coping mechanisms; Striving to move the family as a whole to a higher level of functioning.

The Madison County Family Council reviews and endorses the Service Coordination Mechanism every three years to ensure that every component is updated and accurate. Input is gathered from parents of youth, direct service providers as well as administrators.
