The Madison County Public Health Plumbing Inspection Program provides registration of all plumbing contractors and their employees, and issues permits for all commercial and residential plumbing installations. Franklin County Public Health provides all plumbing inspection services and plan review services to Madison County. Franklin County Public Health also conducts plan reviews and inspections for all medical gas installations. Franklin County Public Health Plumbing Inspectors are certified with the State of Ohio Department of Commerce and maintain those certifications by attending the required certification classes annually.
