Juvenile Probation
Probation occurs when a juvenile offender is adjudicated under a Court Order which releases the juvenile into the community under supervision. The probation department holds juvenile offenders accountable for their actions while providing support for them and their families. Probation officers monitor juvenile offender compliance with Court Orders; as well as assists the juvenile and their family in improving the juvenile’s overall condition. Juveniles ordered to complete probation will have routine contact with the Probation Department and are held accountable for their actions through appropriate sanctions.
