Resource tables will be available before and after the conversations. Tables will consist of services available to Madison County including treatment facilities, mental health agencies, health providers, first responders, social service organizations, and many more!

The panel will have specialists from areas of mental health, treatment & recovery, and prevention. The panelists will inform the audience of the work of the coalition and local agencies. Learn how you can participate in the coalition and ask the experts questions.

Every participant will have the option of joining one of three breakout sessions:

Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided with Naloxone) - Leave the night with Narcan

Project DAWN puts Narcan in the hands of residents to prevent opioid overdoses. Naloxone, or Narcan, is a medication that can reverse an opioid drug overdose. Attend the training and leave with a kit to save a life.

Hidden in Plain Sight - Learn to identify youth drug usage

Hidden in Plain Sight is a presentation that is paired with a display of a youth’s bedroom where a scavenger hunt is played to bring awareness to hiding places and trends of drug use among our youth. This presentation is only offered to adults.

Intro to Suicide Prevention - Learn the truth about suicide

Intro to Suicide Prevention discusses the misconceptions about suicide. This session will also provide information on future QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) trainings to take a deeper dive into suicide prevention.
